The Fibrlok Fiber Optic Mechanical Splice from 3M is great for your restoration work and many other applications that require that fiber optic splicing to be done in a quick and efficient manner. Using the 3M Fibrlok Fiber Optic Mechanical Splice, you can complete a fiber optic splice within 30 seconds after preparing the ends of the optical fiber.
This Fiber Optic Mechanical Splice has an insertion loss <.2db, and="" the="" optical="" fiber="" has="" a="" retention="" of="">7.75 lbs. The Fibrlok Fiber Optic Mechanical Splice is known for its low reflection characteristics of -35dB and has a thermal stability of -40°C to 80°C. The Fibrlok Fiber Optic Mechanical Splice is designed to accommodate 250-900μm buffer sizes.
Using V groove technology, the Fibrlok Fiber Optic Mechanical Splice requires no epoxy.
